Our Client is a full-service hotel located in Ikeja, Lagos.
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with the menu. You will work alongside a team of cooks to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, delivering exceptional food to the guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and established procedures.
- Portion and plate food to ensure consistency and attractive presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
- Stock and maintain prep areas with necessary ingredients.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment.
- Assist other cooks in ensuring timely meal preparation and service.
- Follow food safety regulations and storage procedures.
- Learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional kitchen.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of safe food handling practices.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
