HIRING – Chef (Hospitality Industry)
Location: Abuja
Work Schedule: One day on, One day off

About Company: Our client is a newly established Boutique Hotel with 16 luxury rooms located in Abuja.

Job Summary: The company is seeking to hire an experienced Chef who will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing high-quality meals both local and continental that meet the company’s culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare a variety of meals in line with menu specifications and customer preferences.
  • Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality, taste, and presentation expectations.
  • Support in planning and developing menus for restaurants, room service, and events.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure high performance.
  • Manage waste reduction and portion control to optimize efficiency.
  • Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (in line with HACCP).
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, particularly food and beverage service teams, to ensure timely and smooth service.

Requirements

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local cuisines.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP compliance preferred).

 N150k – N200k Monthly net + other Incentives
