Foodhub by Livio is looking for a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and upholding food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook meals according to the company’s menu, customer’s order and quality standards.
Timely & Accurate Meal Preparation: Ensure that food is prepared on time and according to customer specifications.
Kitchen Management: Ensure smooth kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, plating, and presentation.
Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor ingredient levels, track stock usage, and coordinate orders with suppliers.
Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety in line with regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen assistants, service teams, and management to ensure seamless food service.
Menu Execution & Improvement: Contribute ideas for menu enhancements and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Waste Reduction & Cost Control: Manage food portions and storage to minimize waste while maximizing efficiency.
3+ Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant, café, or food service setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and time management skills.
Must reside within Lekki Phase 1 or nearby areas for a reliable commute.
Flexibility to work in shifts (morning and evening).
