- Maintain and optimize PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems; ensure accuracy, calibration, and reliability of instrumentation; manage control logic, alarms, and interlocks; troubleshoot control system faults and instrumentation failures; develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs; support commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities; ensure proper documentation of control systems; drive process optimization and automation improvements; participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safe operation of control systems and instrumentation; enforce compliance with HSE and functional safety standards; support implementation of safety instrumented systems (SIS); ensure proper alarm management and safeguarding; participate in incident investigations and risk assessments
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Control Engineering, or related discipline; relevant certifications in automation or control systems are an added advantage
- Minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in automation and control systems within oil and gas or similar industrial facilities, including hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms
