Assist in troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs of electrical and mechanical failures with generators, transfer switches and replaces faulty components and air compressors; inspects valves, injection pumps, injectors and related components.
Analyze various power sources including GAS, Diesel solar & Grid, analyze deviations to ensure that right power quality is delivered to the plant.
Reporting and tracking energy consumption, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
Performing routine checks on energy transformers, energy meters, RMU, AMF, MLV and other LV distribution components and accessories.
Implement strategies and policies to reduce energy consumption and Improve Fuel Efficiency

Interfacing with power distribution companies in ensuring delivery of quality and reliable power to the facility. Ability to perform routine checks on energy transformers, energy meters, RMU, AMF, MLV and other LV distribution components and accessories.
Develop maintenance teams' capabilities through On Job Training and Hand holding, ensures IDP's are in place and executed for self and subordinates.
Ensures training programs are attended by all nominated team members and guide on implementation of learnings
Develops unit capabilities to achieve maximum utilization of technology and equipment and effectively applies approved selection
Develops and coaches, and provides feedback to team members for better performance and develops successors
Establishes and maintains productive relationships with team members and stake holders

Minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant hands-on experience with generators (Diesel & Gas), Boilers, VAM, and other electrical systems.
At least 3 years of experience in a beverage bottling company in a Senior Engineer capacity.
Experienced in budgeting and people management.
Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health, and Safety.
Understanding of the financial impact of decisions.
Experience coaching direct reports and mentoring others.
Ability to translate functional strategy into unit/section plans.
Ability to lead and manage change, setting standards for achieving performance targets.
Ability to build and leverage relationships to improve results.
Possession of CMRP Certification or a similar engineering certification is an added advantage.
Experience in plant manufacturing operations, project planning, and implementation.
Previous experience with new generator installations or power plant expansion is an advantage.
Understanding of business case/cost-benefit analysis preparation and basic financial reports.
Ability to influence situations without direct control of resources.
Exposure to budgeting procedures and cost management.
Good understanding of HQSE modalities and codes.
Good understanding of GMP and GHK (5S) standards.
Good oral communication, influencing, and relationship skills.
