Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Excellent interface with building contractors and other sub\-contractors on site.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Report changes, variations, and site instructions to the operation manager.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Carry out planning for procurement and raise procurement requests to the P&L department.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Read drawings, set out systems, and interpret drawings to workers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Manage the site supervisors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Prepare material technical submittals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Prepare technical and progress reports.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Drive conformance with health & safety rules within your teams.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Follow health and safety procedures, including wearing of personal protective equipment,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Not tampering with or misusing safety equipment, devices, or any other company property<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Report any identified defects and potential hazards in the workplace<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Inform your Supervisor\/HSE Representatives\/HSE Officer or QHSE Manager of any<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• observed workplace injury, illness, and incidents.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Good working knowledge of Engineering drawing and measurements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent working knowledge of plumbing and fire systems standards & codes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent working knowledge of plumbing and fire system installation principles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent knowledge of project management principles and practices.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>
