Description - Prepare and assemble mechanical systems and components for various projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary materials and processes.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair machinery, equipment, and structural components using tools and machines.
- Utilize welding techniques and equipment to join metal parts and ensure structural integrity.
- Conduct quality inspections on fabricated components to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, ensuring safety in accordance with workplace regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize fabrication processes.
- Participate in the development of new fabrication techniques and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
- Document all fabrication processes and maintain accurate records of materials used.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks.
Requirements - HND/OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical fabrication or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to mechanical fabrication.
