- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems to reduce production interruptions.
- Oversee calibration, lubrication, and inspection of machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and health & safety standards.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical maintenance technicians.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage spare parts inventory, tools, and maintenance budgets.
- Collaborate with procurement to source reliable parts and equipment.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of mechanical maintenance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, boilers, etc).
- Understanding of food industry compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
