Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
Support Engineers: Assist mechanical engineers in planning, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical components, machinery, engines, instruments, and other related equipment.
Proposal Preparation: Help prepare proposals and cost estimates for maintenance projects and tasks.
Safety Adherence: Actively engage in all safety protocols, ensuring the use of job-specific safety tools and proper identification and mitigation of any safety risks before starting work.
Job Pack Review: Thoroughly review job packs, ensuring the work plan is complete, resources are available, and all safety considerations are addressed.
Task Execution: Execute work according to the job plan, ensuring that the work is completed efficiently and to specification.
Technical Recording: Accurately record the technical history of maintenance tasks, using tools like the Global Reliability Tool (GRT) or data sheets.
Continuous Improvement: Provide constructive feedback to the Execution Field Leader Supervisor (FLS) regarding job pack improvements and recommend enhancements for future maintenance activities.
Permit Management: Request necessary work permits and notify the supervisor if permits are not issued within 30 minutes of the request, avoiding delays in work commencement.
Education Qualification:
A first degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline).
Professional Qualification:
Discipline-appropriate certifications (e.g., relevant technical training or professional qualifications) or equivalent professional experience in maintenance or related fields.
