Main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of SSHE policies and procedures across project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Prepare and compile monthly SSHE reports, including Safety Stewardship, Progress, and Executive Reports, by gathering and analyzing safety data.
Conduct trend analysis and generate visual reports such as graphs, tables, and statistics to support data-driven safety decisions.
Act as the point of contact for the site’s incident management program, ensuring accurate reporting, investigation, and documentation of incidents.
Maintain and manage the project’s safety database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for effective decision-making.
Identify trends in safety data and propose proactive safety initiatives to mitigate risks and improve safety culture.
Develop and implement safety awareness programs, such as management presentations, poster campaigns, and training sessions.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to SSHE policies, reporting any non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
Support emergency response preparedness by ensuring compliance with oil spill response and environmental safety regulations.
Assist in training and mentoring personnel on safety best practices and emergency response protocols.
Collaborate with contractors and field personnel to enhance safety performance and compliance with SSHE requirements.
Travel to local and international project sites as required to provide SSHE support.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
Professional Qualification:
Certifications in Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) preferred
