About the Company: Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing agency with solid expertise working with diverse brands and industries in Africa.

 

Job Objective: Our client is looking to hire a creative and highly skilled Videographer and Photographer to join its content team on a part-time basis. S/he will be responsible for planning, capturing, editing, and delivering compelling visual content that tells the brand stories, highlights their products/services, and engages their audience across digital and print platforms

 

Key Responsibilities:

Photography:

§  Capture high-quality photos for product shoots, lifestyle campaigns, events, behind-the-scenes, and editorial projects.

§  Plan and execute shoots with attention to lighting, styling, composition, and brand aesthetics.

§  Edit, retouch, and optimize images for various formats (web, social, print, etc.).

 

Videography:

§  Film and produce engaging video content, including interviews, promos, ads, reels, tutorials, and event coverage.

§  Handle all aspects of video production: storyboarding, filming, sound, lighting, and post-production editing.

§  Edit footage into polished videos using transitions, sound effects, music, captions, and visual effects.

 

Creative Collaboration:

§  Work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content needs and deliver visual assets on-brand and on time.

§  Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and help shape the visual direction for campaigns.

 

Asset Management:

§  Organize and archive all photo and video content for easy access and reuse

§  Maintain all camera, lighting, and editing equipment in good working condition.



Requirements

Education & Experience:

§  Degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, or related field (preferred)

§  2–4 years of proven experience in videography within a digital agency, media house, or production company

§  A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing creative and high-quality video projects

 

Technical Expertise:

§  Proficiency in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting kits, and audio recording equipment

§  Skilled in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

§  Working knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects (added advantage)

§  Familiarity with various video formats and optimization for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.)

§  Experience in shooting both studio and on-location content

 

Creative & Storytelling Skills:

§  Strong visual storytelling ability with an eye for composition, framing, and pacing

§  Ability to develop creative video concepts that align with brand identity and marketing goals

§  Capable of creating different content styles — promotional videos, ads, interviews, reels, product showcases, and event recaps

§  Understanding of current digital trends, social media aesthetics, and audience engagement tactics

 

Production & Project Management:

§  Ability to handle end-to-end video production — from concept development to final delivery

§  Competence in storyboarding, scripting, location scouting, and shoot scheduling

§  Experience collaborating with creative directors, content creators, and marketing teams

§  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

Collaboration & Communication:

§  Excellent interpersonal skills for working with clients, talents, and internal teams

§  Open to feedback and able to adapt creative direction quickly

§  Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
