The CNG Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all electrical systems and components within the CNG station.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine electrical inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNG compressors, dispensers, and related equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults in motors, control systems, wiring, PLCs, switches, and sensors.
Respond quickly to electrical faults or equipment failures to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations.
Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, control circuits, grounding systems, and power distribution units.
Monitor electrical loads and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports for all electrical-related work.
Ensure all work activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician; experience in CNG, gas plants, or industrial facilities is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control circuits, and instrumentation.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
Good understanding of safety procedures in hazardous environments.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
