Our client is one of Africa’s largest economy and continues to cement its Group’s position as one of the leading and most diversified consumer brand builders in the country. due to expansion they are in need of a R&D LEAD- HOME CARE AND PERSONAL CARE.

LOCATION: LAGOS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and launch new home/personal care products tailored to Nigerian consumers
Formulate, test, and optimize products (cost, performance, local raw materials)
Ensure compliance with NAFDAC/SON standards
Support scale-up from lab to production
Collaborate with Marketing, QA, and Supply Chain
Lead/mentor junior R&D staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
5+ years R&D experience in home/personal care
Proven track record developing products
Strong formulation and raw material knowledge
Familiarity with NAFDAC/SON regulations
Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

Products developed for Nigerian market (concept to launch)
Local raw material sourcing challenges
NAFDAC/SON approval experience
Lab-to-production scale-up examples
